     I believe the cartoonist is pointing out how women are fighting for their rights and republicians are trying to take them away. It's showing the women's reproductive organs, and then turned into an elephant, as the republican party. Which is like how they're trying to control us women. It's ironic in the way where the picture is drawn, and that certain members of the republican party are talking about women, abortions, and "legitamate rape". Like, a woman cant decide if they want an abortion or not.

     I think the impact on this cartoon to people is the point to a certain political party and the fight for women's rights. This is trashing the republican party and their thoughts. In my thoughts, I don't believe people should be able to control a women's body. No, an abortion isn't right, but it's what the women wants, and that's her body to decide, not anyone else's. We should have full freedonm of our own body. Also, the republican party says that it has to be "legitamate rape". How can there be a fake rape? If it's rape, its all bad and shouldnt be happening. If a women doesn't want to keep a baby as a reminder to being raped, or because it will cause her health risks, like dying, the mom should decide whether she wants to abort it. It shouldn't have to be an illegal desicion, in my opinion.
