My opinion



The cartoonist choose to draw about this because of how in debt America is in and all of our problems. Also, Romney is so rich and as I have heard, he basically wants to get rid of the middle class. That would be erasing us. This drawing is "ironic" in the way the middle class is being erased by a "No. 2" pencil that is entitled "The Great Recession". This would be the second recession, hint the #2 pencil. I think the impact this picture has on the viewers is that our economy is basically crap and it's just getting worse and soon we'll (the middle class) be wiped out until the rich people take over what they want.

     The impact this drawing has on me, is to realize partially whats going on. What Romney is saying, are just lies to feed into America to get his vote. But, what this cartoon is pointing out is that the middle class is going to be wiped away. We'll get pulled into another recession and it'll probably be worse than the first one. America is jsut basically falling into pieces and every president nominee will tell you the same thing, that they can fix it. But, can they really fix it that easy, and as easily as they say? Nope. But, people will feed into what they say and vote for them while lies about the other canidate are out, so they look like the bad person.
